No Fix – No Fee Policy

Our No Fix – No Fee policy means that if the engineer does not possess the necessary technical knowledge or ability to resolve the problem or effect the repair, then no charge is made to the customer.

This policy does not apply when:

  • The engineer is able to resolve the problem or effect the repair, but is only prevented from doing so by the customer requesting the engineer not to proceed with the work
  • The engineer is able to resolve the problem or effect the repair, but is only prevented from doing so because the customer does not possess the required software disc or product key
  • The engineer provides a clear and precise diagnosis of a failed components and the customer decides not to proceed with the replacement of the component
  • The policy does not apply to work related data recovery, laptop screen replacement, third party issues, computer virus or spyware problems or to cases in which the computer has been struck by lightning

Diagnostic Fee

The diagnostic fee depends on the amount of work performed to diagnose what's the problem and the solution to resolve the problem and the value of the hardware is taken into consideration. The diagnostic fee is to the engineer's discretion and ranges from £35 to £45. If the engineer cannot specifically diagnose the problem and finds no solution then no fee is payable from the customer.

Refund Policy

Our refund policy covers cases where the work that we have performed still has not fixed problems for the hardware or software issues either immediately or after 1 month that the work has been done. It covers work that we have done that still hasn't achieved the main objectives requested. In these circumstances we will provide the customer a full refund.

This policy does not apply when:

  • Some data is lost after work is done on the computer
  • A software problem occurs after the 1 month warranty period that didn't exhibit during the first month
  • When the computer is damaged by electrical power surges such as lightning damage
  • If you change your mind about the work that has been done or you no longer want a hardware or software product that you purchased
